Enjoyed a delicious traditional cooked breakfast, complemented by well-presented good coffee. noise from nearby events made it a bit disruptive at times, and the decor, while pleasant, could use a modern touch to enhance the ambiance.

The mobile signal and Wi-Fi were intermittent during the stay!!! The hotel's remoteness made excursions difficult, with local transport options nearly non-existent!!!

We felt so welcomed by the friendly owner and loved taking a leisurely stroll through the magnificent gardens, which led us right to the River Ouse. it was the perfect way to unwind after exploring nearby landmarks like the Howden Minster and the charming Howden Heritage Centre, both just a short walk away.

i truly enjoyed my recent stay as it was a beautiful place with superbly furnished rooms, making the perfect base for a weekend of city strolling at nearby historical landmarks like Howden Minster and the Yorkshire Waterways Museum, allowing for scenic walks and cultural exploration nearby.

It was just a commendable fit for a quick weekend visit with very good value for money. The locals were friendly, and a kind lady even offered to give us a lift to the nearby pub. Arrive in daylight. the roads can be tricky.
